Founded by Prof. Dr. René Bohnsack, Venturely has evolved into an AI-powered platform that effectively enables incubators, accelerators, corporations, and universities to navigate the innovation journey.

Our mission is to provide tools that efficiently manage, mentor, and measure success, giving innovation teams a unique advantage.

Our Journey

Venturely was created by the Digital + Sustainable Innovation Lab, a multi-disciplinary research group at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, in Portugal.

2014 - Brith of the idea

The birth of the idea came in 2014 in Switzerland, university of St Gallen, where Rene Bohnsack starts the idea as a business modelling tool after his PhD.

2016 - World’s largerst business model database

In 2016 at Catolica-Lisbon launched of the Smart Business Modeler, as the largest business model database.

2018 - Launch of acceleration platform

Later in 2018 launched the non-profit business modeling and venture creation platform, providing step-by-step guidance, practical templates, and business modeling tools to collaboratively work on developing your business ideas and successfully bring them to market.

In 2019 Smart Business Modeler won the an award for the most innovative, impactful and scaleable ICT tool at the San Fransisco Reimagine Education Awards.
